Procurement Manager

About the role

This is a senior procurement role with genuine ownership of the electronic-components supply chain. You'll source components, develop suppliers, and drive the cost, quality and lead-time improvements that keep a well-established manufacturing operation competitive — synchronising procurement tightly with production.

You'll join a business with real pedigree: part of the TVS Group, manufacturing battery chargers since 1986, with exports to the Middle East and global markets. It's a place where sharp sourcing decisions show up directly in the product and the bottom line.

What you'll do

• Source electronic components and manage inventory in line with organisational policy.
• Drive product-development initiatives and reduce lead-times.
• Deliver improvements in quality, cost savings and product enhancement.
• Lead sourcing and supplier development — battery-component knowledge is a plus.
• Synchronise procurement with production schedules.
• Establish systems that maintain product integrity.
• Ensure vendor compliance with EHS policy, ISO and required certifications.
• Track emerging technologies in electronics and minimise material obsolescence.

What we're looking for

• A graduate engineer specialising in Electronics (BE).
• 10–15 years in procurement or supply-chain operations within manufacturing or electronics.
• Proficiency with bidding and quotation-management systems (BQMS).
• Strong sourcing and supplier-evaluation capability.
